GTFC became the first company in Tamil Nadu's small components manufacturing sector to receive the ZED (Zero Effect Zero Defect) certification under the Government of India's Quality Council programme. The end-to-end implementation — gap analysis, documentation, system deployment, team training and audit preparation — was supported by Gayathri Lean Consultancy. A landmark result that demonstrates Lean and quality systems can be implemented successfully at any scale of manufacturing.
